Amanti Hotel Seoul
Nine Brick Hotel
Paradise City
The wedding ceremony and lunch will be held at this hotel, making it the most convenient option, along with great value. Officially rated as a 4-star hotel, this would be a great choice for those who want a seamless experience.
We will not have any room blocks available, but for your convenience we have compiled a short list of hotel recommendations. In addition to these, there are many common chains in the area, including Holiday Inn Express, Marriott, and Hyatt.
If you are looking to stay somewhere offsite and stay within a reasonable budget, this is a unique boutique hotel just a short walk from the Amanti. Officially rated as a 3-star hotel, this option will offer unique features on top of good value.
If you want the ultimate luxury experience, Paradise City in Incheon is the place for you! Though a bit far from Seoul, this 5-star resort offers world-class amenities, a Korean-style spa, and more. Plus, it's a quick five-minute shuttle ride from Incheon Airport.
Transportation
Public Transportation: the subway and bus system in Korea is fast, convenient, and affordable. To access it, you can purchase a T-money card at any convenience store or subway station - including at the airport - and load it with Korean cash at those same locations. Use it to tap on and off any subway station or bus in the country.
Taxi: Korea does not use Uber or Lyft, but there are plenty of taxis around relatively affordable, especially when compared to the US. You can still use your Uber or Lyft app, it will just connect you to taxis instead, so you can pay with the card you already have saved. You can also use international cards or your T-money card to pay directly in the taxi.
Driving: In order to rent a car and drive in South Korea, you will need an International Driving Permit (IDP) which needs to be issued before you arrive. Because of this process and the dense traffic conditions, I do not recommend relying on this method.
Navigation: Google Maps is not reliable here, so I recommend downloading Naver Maps instead. You can use this app in English for the most part, and it is the most reliable map tool for all forms of transportation. (A tip if you are having trouble finding a location and using English, is to type the name of the place with no spaces in between words.)
